6-Month Contract-to-Hire •No C2C!!!- W2 Candidates ONLY! Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead an Agile development team delivering high-quality, AI-enabled products. This role will serve as the bridge between business and engineering, requiring strong technical fluency and the ability to work directly with developers, understand technical challenges, and help drive effective solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong Agile/Scrum practitioner who is comfortable getting into technical details, managing product priorities, and identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools and capabilities within products and workflows. Responsibilities Lead the Scrum team as Product Owner and provide clear product vision, priorities, and direction. Own and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap, epics, and user stories. Partner closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions. Work directly with engineering teams to understand technical challenges, implementation tradeoffs, and potential solutions. Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Leverage AI tools and identify opportunities to incorporate AI into products and business workflows. Develop strong business and product knowledge and become a trusted resource for the development team. Lead backlog refinement, iteration planning, story elaboration, and other Agile ceremonies. Help remove roadblocks and ensure the team has the clarity and direction needed to deliver successfully. Required Qualifications Previous Product Owner experience in a software development environment. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong technical fluency and comfort working directly with software engineering teams. Hands-on experience using AI tools or working with AI-enabled products. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to quickly learn complex business domains and proactively seek information Preferred Skills Experience delivering AI-enabled products or solutions. Ability to effectively balance business priorities with technical realities. Experience working closely with developers and architects in an Agile software development environment.
