Job Role- Product Owner Location:
Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Interview Process:
One round, conducted in person
Skills- Background:
Experience in delivery logistics and/or store operations is preferred.
Methodology:
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
Vendor Experience:
Candidates must have experience working with and/or managing vendors.

Contract-to-Hire. Job Summary- Client is seeking a Contract Product Owner to support the My Delivery product team. This role will focus on backlog ownership, requirements definition, sprint readiness, and Agile delivery execution for capabilities that support store fulfilment, dispatch operations, delivery drivers, and PRO customer deliveries. The Product Owner will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, support teams, and operations partners to translate business needs into detailed requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery. This individual will be responsible for maintaining backlog health, writing clear user stories, refining acceptance criteria, and supporting successful sprint and release execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in Agile product delivery environments. They excel at translating operational needs into actionable requirements and partnering with development teams to deliver business value. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities- Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog. Create, refine, and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation. Ensure backlog items are sufficiently detailed, testable, and sprint-ready before development begins. Partner with product leadership to maintain delivery priorities and sequencing. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Serve as the primary source of functional clarification for engineering teams. Support delivery teams in resolving requirements questions and business process ambiguities. Identify, communicate, and escalate delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies. Document business requirements, workflows, user journeys, and operational processes. Translate stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements. Collaborate with engineers, QA partners, UX resources, and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of solutions. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities. Gather feedback from store team members, delivery operations, dispatchers, support teams, and business stakeholders. Analyze user feedback, incidents, and operational challenges to identify backlog improvements. Assist with troubleshooting, production issue prioritization, and release validation efforts. Support rollout and adoption activities for new functionality. Monitor operational metrics, production defects, and customer feedback to inform backlog decisions. Assist product leadership with reporting and analysis activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives across product delivery processes. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role. Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments. Demonstrated ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency with Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Experience supporting retail, supply chain, logistics, transportation, mobility, or delivery-related applications preferred. Experience documenting workflows, process maps, and business requirements. Familiarity with mobile applications, operational systems, integrations, or dispatch platforms preferred. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or comparable Agile certification preferred. Experience supporting distributed operational users such as stores, drivers, field teams, or customer-facing associates preferred.
