Location:
- National Capital Region (NCR) or San Antonio, TX
- NIghtwing is seeking a Product Owner who will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, and maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the development team. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- The Product Owner is responsible for defining stories, prioritizing the team backlog, and ensuring that developed features deliver maximum value to users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- + Define and prioritize user stories in the team backlog + Decompose features into implementable stories with clear acceptance criteria + Participate in backlog refinement sessions (minimum bi-weekly) + Collaborate with Government/SETA Product Manager on feature definition + Accept or reject completed work based on Definition of Done + Participate in all SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Reviews, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- + Minimum 14 years of experience with 5+ years as Product Owner or similar role + Bachelor's degree (or equivalent substitution) + Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or willingness to obtain within 90 days + Deep understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies + Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile management tools + Strong understanding of offensive cyber operations mission requirements + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills + Technical background sufficient to understand system architecture and constraints + Active TS/SCI clearance + Must be U.
