Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to directly support the Chief Engineer and Agile Coach across technical execution, multi-cloud operations, and DevSecOps innovation for future work on the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Next (C1N) ACSS contract. In this role, as a member of a Scaled Agile software development organization, you will contribute to the technical execution of a program that integrates proven, globally deployed technologies with modern cloud-native capabilities. You will work alongside cross-functional teams and technical leaders to deliver predictable outcomes in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment. Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the team in executing Continuous Flow/ Kanban or planned sprint activities. Facilitate and lead all team ceremonies, including Refinements/Sprint Planning, Daily Boardwalks/Standups, Retrospectives, and Reviews/Demos, using relevant metrics and data to drive continuous improvement. Actively remove impediments by resolving blocking issues related to feature development, build and dependency challenges, operational support conflicts, and process. Provide timely status, risk, and dependency reporting to management, including sprint execution, team availability, and issues impacting delivery. Help teams design, develop, document, configure, test, and debug applications and frameworks across the full software development life cycle, serving as a key contributor to system enhancements and new features. Help the Agile Coach teach and execute hybrid SAFe 6 and Extreme Programming framework across the program. Help team use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation. Help team to adopt DevSecOps concepts and tooling. Collaborate with and mentor junior team members to meet commitments and project milestones. Communicate effectively with cross-functional internal teams, stakeholders, and, when necessary, external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Participate in and lead teams through PI Planning events.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of prior experience. SAFe 6 Experience/ Knowledge of AI-Native SAFe. SAFe 6 Leading SAFe certification. SAFe 6 Scrum Master certification. SAFe 6 DevOps certification. Significant knowledge of DevSecOps methodology, security, and cloud environments. Understanding of sound software development principles and practices. Knowledge and experience with DevSecOps principles are a must. Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion. Experience working as a Team Coach, Scrum Master within the SAFe Framework. Experience with Kanban/Continuous Flow. Understanding of Extreme Programming principles. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Active Secret Clearance. US citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of or experience with AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Codex etc.). Knowledge of or experience with microservices and cloud-based environments. Knowledge of or experience with Terraform / Ansible. Knowledge of or experience with Cloud Certifications. Knowledge of or experience with Operations Experience. Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
