Job Description

Job Summary A global digital payments network is hiring Scrum Master contractors to support Infrastructure (TechOps) teams across operations, networking, and engineering. These Scrum Masters will facilitate Agile and Scrumban practices for production teams, coordinate releases, remove obstacles, and drive planning and execution across multiple teams while communicating effectively with senior and executive-level stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies Apply Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban practices to infrastructure-focused teams not operating in traditional two-week sprints Support up to 2-3 teams per Scrum Master, with each team consisting of up to 10 members Identify and remove obstacles surfaced during daily stand-ups and ongoing delivery work Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across operations, networking, and engineering teams Decompose work into user stories and tasks, and maintain clear documentation of scope, ownership, and timelines Drive planning, coaching, and expectation-setting across cross-functional teams Communicate status, risks, and priorities to senior and executive-level stakeholders, including VP and SVP audiences Support onboarding and Agile training, including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices Coordinate releases with customers and internal stakeholders Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban Experience working in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe) Experience supporting infrastructure, operations, networking, and engineering teams Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and negotiation skills Proven ability to re-prioritize work with senior and executive-level stakeholders Experience facilitating work involving infrastructure deployment, web services, databases, and engineering teams Ability to manage multiple teams and dependencies simultaneously
