Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, helping teams embrace Agile principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement within aplex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including S Planning, Daily Scrum, S Reviews, S Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions

Ensure effective adnce to Scrum principles, Agile values, and team working agreements

Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement

Support teams in deliveringmitments within s and release objectives

Monitor team performance, s progress, and delivery metrics using Agile reporting and dashboards

Ensure risks, dependencies, issues, and impediments are identified, tracked, and resolved

Partner with Product Owners, Business Partners, Architects, and Technology Leaders

Manage dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams

Track and analyze Agile metrics such as Velocity, S Burndown, Lead Time, and Cycle Time

Identify, document, and manage delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, and technical blockers

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, project management, or Agile environments
  • Experience supporting software development teams using Agile methodologies in large,plex enterprise organizations
  • Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of Scrum Framework, Agile Principles, Kanban Practices, and Lean Methodologies
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Understanding of SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, Release Management, and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Exceptional verbal/writtenmunication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • At least one of the following certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, II, or III), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)
Desired skills:

Familiarity with Agile at scale frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or ScrumScale

SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)

SAFe Agilist (SA)

PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

ICAgile Agile Coach Certification

Certified Agile Leadership (CAL)

Pay range: $68.38 - $76.38 per hour
