Job Title:
Scrum Master/Jira Specialist Job Description We are seeking a Scrum Master/Jira Specialist to support a team of 4 Lead Scrum Masters on several high-visibility government programs transitioning from prototypes to larger scale development. In this role, you will collaborate with the Lead Scrum Master to implement Agile Development Methodologies and processes, manage day-to-day Jira execution, maintain boards, gather inputs from technical leads, and deliver accurate, on-demand reporting for government stakeholders. Responsibilities Implement, drive, and execute Agile Development Methodologies and Processes. Own day-to-day Jira execution. Maintain Jira boards with updates from technical leads. Produce accurate, on-demand reporting for stakeholders. Essential Skills At least 5 years of directly applicable experience in Jira and supporting government programs. Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with strong Jira skills or Master's degree and at least 3 years of applicable experience. Strong cross-team coordination skills and the ability to absorb context rapidly. Ability to ensure data integrity and traceability across the program. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with software development and structuring agile development tickets for a software program. Experience managing across a program hierarchy of 6-12 Agile Teams. Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is a plus. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Work Environment This role offers a flexible work environment with an average of one day onsite per week. Some weeks may be fully remote, while others may require multiple onsite days for internal and customer meetings. You will work across four separate programs that are part of a consortium focused on Radar development. The Agile process structure exists across all four programs, though it is not yet fully mature. Collaboration with Scrum Masters will be necessary to advance process adoption. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
