We are seeking an experienced SAFe Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery and drive effective Scrum practices across software development teams. The resource will serve as an Agile enabler, coach, facilitator, and servant leader responsible for removing impediments, coordinating Agile ceremonies, supporting PI Planning, tracking delivery metrics, and promoting continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of overall IT industry experience, including strong experience supporting software development projects involving Java, J2EE, .NET, web portals, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. A minimum of 5 years of Scrum Master experience with hands-on SAFe Agile implementation is required. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, quality standards, timelines, and delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes across software development teams. Serve as a Scrum Master and Agile facilitator for one or more Scrum teams. Guide and coach teams on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe principles and practices. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies. Coordinate and support Program Increment (PI) Planning activities across Scrum teams. Identify, track, and remove impediments, blockers, risks, issues, and dependencies affecting delivery. Promote collaboration and transparency across development, product, architecture, and business teams. Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs. Ensure user stories and backlog items are sufficiently refined and ready for development. Monitor sprint and release progress and proactively communicate delivery risks. Track Agile KPIs and metrics to measure team performance, delivery quality, predictability, and continuous improvement. Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments to stakeholders. Facilitate retrospective sessions and drive actionable continuous improvement initiatives. Support adherence to Scrum, SAFe, and Agile delivery frameworks. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum. Encourage effective team collaboration and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support project planning, delivery tracking, and Agile governance activities. Mentor Scrum team members and promote Agile best practices. Provide knowledge transfer and coaching to project team members. Contribute to process documentation, workflows, and project deliverables. Provide thought leadership and recommend alternative solutions when appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of overall IT industry experience. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Agile Project Management using SAFe. Strong experience facilitating and coordinating Agile Scrum teams. Strong experience with SAFe Agile practices and Program Increment (PI) Planning. Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, ceremonies, roles, and practices. Experience supporting software development projects. Experience working with Java, J2EE, .NET, web development, or similar technology projects. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong experience managing Agile project risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments. Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAFe certification. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification. Kanban certification. Experience working in automotive or manufacturing environments. Experience supporting large-scale Agile transformation initiatives. Experience with Agile metrics, reporting, and delivery dashboards. Experience coordinating multiple Scrum teams within a SAFe Agile framework.

Hybrid onsite position. Candidate should be local to Dublin, OH. Onsite schedule is Tuesday through Thursday. Candidate must be willing to work onsite 3 days per week. 40 hours per week. Contract-to-perm opportunity. Strong SAFe Scrum Master experience is mandatory. Minimum 5 years of Scrum Master experience is required. Strong PI Planning and SAFe Agile experience is required.
