Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Digital Accessibility Agile/Project Lead Key Responsibilities:
Agile Delivery & Pre-Release Testing Sprint Management:
Manage day-to-day Agile ceremonies and activities specifically for pre-release testing sprints, retros and sprint planning, ensuring the team maintains strict focus on quality and continuous delivery.
Visibility & Tracking:
Provide clear visibility into testing delivery targets, commitments, and progress to stakeholders.
Impediment Resolution:
Facilitate processes to proactively identify roadblocks in the testing lifecycle and resolve them using a network of peers and formal escalation channels.
Risk & Compliance:
Understand and coach the team on delivery controls and compliance to minimize operational and reputational risk prior to release.
Dependency Management:
Understand domain architecture to help teams identify upstream and downstream dependencies that could impact the pre-release testing schedule.
Accessibility Project Management Strategic Rollout Planning:
Lead the end-to-end project management for designing and deploying a new, innovative testing approach within our live production monitoring environments.
Cross-Functional Implementation:
Partner with DevOps, engineering, and testing teams to seamlessly integrate these new production testing strategies without disrupting existing live services.
Change Management & Optimization:
Drive the adoption of these new monitoring practices across teams, establishing key performance metrics to measure their effectiveness in proactively identifying production issues.
Agile Coaching & Team Building Continuous Improvement:
Utilize data-driven feedback and Agile metrics to identify growth opportunities, innovating with frameworks through experimentation to improve team delivery.
Engineering Excellence:
Develop understanding and encouragement of engineering innovation (e.g., DevOps practices, test-driven development, automated testing).
Self-Organization:
Coach the team to continuously improve collaboration, self-organization, and cross-functional communication.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent diploma. At least 3 years of experience as an Agile Coach OR 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead. Demonstrated experience managing Agile workflows for QA, testing, or pre-release teams. Proven project management experience, specifically coordinating initiatives across multiple technical teams. Experience with Agile management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Proven experience working with various stakeholders and the ability to teach Agile concepts to different levels of the organization. Energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with software accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and the concept of automated testing. Hands-on project management experience implementing automated accessibility testing tools into release pipelines. Exposure to centralized Agile team health assessments (such as AgilityHealth). Hands-on experience with Jira Align, Tableau Reports, and advanced Agile Metrics. Experience in scaling Agile, preferably using SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). RTE (Release Train Engineer) or Product Management experience.
