  • Location:
  • National Capital Region (NCR) or San Antonio, TX Nightwing is seeking a Scrum Master that serves as a servant leader and coach for the Agile team, facilitating SAFe implementation and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon processes.
This position removes impediments, fosters high-performing team dynamics, and drives continuous improvement. The Scrum Master educates the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, and SAFe practices while supporting the team's self-organization and goal achievement.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • + Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) + Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices + Identify and remove impediments to team progress + Foster environment for continuous flow and relentless improvement + Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement + Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.
) + Escalate unresolved impediments through appropriate channels + Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution + Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice + Support Program-level events and coordination
  • Required Qualifications:
  • + Minimum 10 years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master + Bachelor's degree (or equivalent substitution) + Active Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification required + Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices + Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in classified environments + Excellent coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills + Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools + Understanding of DevSecOps practices + Active TS/SCI clearance + Must be U.
S. citizen Salary & Benefits The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
