Application Engineer Deer Park, NY | Onsite Join an industry leader delivering highly engineered solutions to aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial manufacturers. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to combine technical problem-solving with customer interaction while building a career in Applications or Sales Engineering. What You'll Do Develop technical solutions based on customer requirements Prepare proposals, quotations, and application recommendations Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation Provide technical support to customers and sales teams Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales throughout project execution Participate in customer meetings and occasional site visits (up to 15% travel) What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field Strong communication and problem-solving skills Customer-focused mindset with an interest in technical sales and applications engineering Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts Preferred Experience SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software Blueprint and drawing interpretation Manufacturing, automation, robotics, fabrication, or electromechanical systems Internship, project, or hands-on technical experience Why Join Us? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deer Park, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
