Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of advanced real-time embedded systems for mission-critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex software solutions that contribute to cutting-edge technology programs in a collaborative engineering environment. This is an onsite position located in Chandler, Arizona. Responsibilities

+ Develop, maintain, and test real-time embedded software applications.

+ Support requirements analysis, software architecture, detailed design, coding, unit testing, integration, and system testing activities.

+ Develop software primarily using C/C++ in Linux-based environments.

+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

+ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in embedded systems.

+ Ensure software complies with established engineering standards and best practices.

+ Participate in integration and validation activities in both software and hardware test environments. Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

+ Experience developing object-oriented software using C/C++.

+ Experience working within Linux-based development environments.

+ Experience developing, testing, and debugging embedded real-time software.

+ Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), such as:

+ VxWorks

+ Integrity

+ LynxOS

+ Yocto Linux

+ Similar RTOS platforms

+ Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to meet security clearance requirements.

+ U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working with PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V processor architectures.

+ Experience supporting hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and computer-in-the-loop (CIL) testing environments.

+ Experience with system integration efforts involving complex embedded platforms.

+ Aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industry experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
