Cerritos, CA Position Overview:
Golden Star Technology Inc. (GST) is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team in Cerritos, CA. The Solutions Architect serves as a trusted technical advisor and pre-sales subject matter expert, collaborating closely with sales teams, customers, and technology partners to design and recommend enterprise IT solutions. This role is responsible for assessing customer environments, understanding business objectives, and developing scalable solutions across data center, compute, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and application technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations that drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with sales teams to identify, develop, and close client opportunities. Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discovery sessions. Gather and analyze customer business and technical requirements to develop tailored IT solutions. Design and recommend enterprise infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and data center technologies. Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, scopes of work (SOWs), and supporting documentation. Present technology strategies, roadmaps, industry trends, and business recommendations to customers and stakeholders. Translate technical solutions into business value and clearly communicate benefits to decision-makers and executive leadership. Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to create competitive and innovative solutions. Maintain expertise in emerging technologies and obtain required vendor certifications. Support technical evaluations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements. Perform other related pre-sales, technical, and customer-facing responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum three (3) years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and data center solutions. Experience creating technical proposals, quotes, Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution documentation. Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies, including HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Aruba, or similar platforms. Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, VCP, MCSE, PMP, CCSP, or equivalent). Ability to conduct technical discovery sessions and develop customer-focused solution architectures. Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
