BUILD REAL AI SOLUTIONS FOR A GROWING COMPANY
Are you the person everyone asks about AI, automation, computers, and new technology? Have you already built custom GPTs, AI agents, automated workflows, integrations, websites, dashboards, or other technology solutions? Project Support Services, Inc. (PSS) is looking for a talented and resourceful AI Automation & Systems Developer to help us streamline and modernize our business. This is a hands-on building position. You will work directly with company leadership and our departments to understand how work is currently completed, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop AI agents, prompts, automations, and internal tools that our employees will actually use. This opportunity is open to current college students, recent graduates, early-career professionals, and self-taught developers. A college degree is not required. We care more about what you can build, how you solve problems, and whether you can turn an idea into a reliable working solution.
THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER AI INTERNSHIP PSS
will teach you about our company, departments, clients, and business processes. However, we are not looking for someone who has only used ChatGPT to ask basic questions. You must already know how to build AI agents, engineer prompts, create automations, work with data, connect systems, test your work, and protect confidential information.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Meet with company leadership and employees to understand their daily processes and challenges. Map existing business processes and identify repetitive, inefficient, or manual tasks. Build custom GPTs, AI agents, and department-specific AI assistants. Write, test, organize, and improve prompts and system instructions. Create prompt libraries and reusable AI workflows. Build agents that review documents, analyze information, prepare reports, and produce structured results. Develop automated workflows using Zapier, Make, Power Automate, n8n, or comparable platforms. Connect AI tools with company systems using APIs and other integrations. Create workflows that extract, classify, summarize, and analyze information from PDFs and other business documents. Work with spreadsheets, databases, dashboards, and data-visualization tools. Build or support internal applications, websites, dashboards, and business tools. Test AI-generated results for accuracy, consistency, reliability, and usefulness. Establish human-review and quality-control steps for AI workflows. Troubleshoot technology, automation, and integration issues. Research new AI tools and recommend practical applications for PSS. Document completed tools and create clear instructions for employees. Train employees to use approved AI tools and workflows. Help PSS establish responsible AI, cybersecurity, and data-privacy practices. Maintain the confidentiality of company, employee, client, and project information.
EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS YOU MAY BUILD
An AI agent that reviews project reports and calculates completion percentages. An agent that reads a program-level PDF and produces results for every project. Department-specific AI assistants for Operations, Recruiting, Accounting, Marketing, and Executive Leadership. Automated reports and notifications based on project information. AI workflows that extract information from PDFs and enter it into structured reports. Prompt systems that produce accurate and repeatable business documents. Automations that reduce manual data entry and repetitive administrative work. Internal dashboards that display project, staffing, financial, or operational information. A searchable company knowledge system that helps employees find information quickly. Integrations between AI tools and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and other company systems.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Candidates must already have practical, hands-on experience with the following: Building custom GPTs, AI agents, or similar AI-powered assistants. Writing, testing, and improving detailed prompts and system instructions. Creating prompt libraries, structured outputs, and reusable AI workflows. Using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot. Building automations using Zapier, Make, Power Automate, n8n, or comparable platforms. Connecting software platforms through APIs and system integrations. Using Python, JavaScript, SQL, or another programming language. Creating AI workflows that extract, classify, summarize, and analyze information from PDFs and business documents. Working with Excel, Google Sheets, databases, and data-visualization tools. Understanding basic cybersecurity, access controls, confidential information, and data-privacy practices. Building or supporting websites, internal applications, dashboards, or business tools. Mapping business processes and identifying opportunities for automation and improvement. Testing AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and consistency. Writing clear instructions and training employees to use completed tools. You do not need professional employment experience with every named platform, but you must have hands-on experience with the underlying skills and be able to demonstrate what you have built.

Are comfortable working directly with employees who have different levels of technical knowledge. Welcome feedback and can revise your work until it meets the company's needs. Understand the importance of protecting confidential business and client information. Want your work to make an immediate and measurable impact. Can work consistently from our Corona office.
