Contract Job Overview:
Pay Range:
$55hr - $60hr Responsible for Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development activities in support of insurance domain applications. Design, develop, modify, deploy, test, debug, and maintain software solutions using object-oriented programming concepts, design standards, and best practices. Develop and maintain GOSU application code within Guidewire PolicyCenter. Configure screen layouts, including the creation of new PCF screens. Configure operational and administrative parameters such as roles, permissions, user attributes, regions, and activity patterns. Resolve issues identified during testing and validation of configuration requirements. Manage code merges and environment management activities. Perform Guidewire software upgrades and maintenance activities. Develop GUnit and JUnit tests to validate business logic and application functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to deliver technical solutions. Support architecture discussions, solution design creation, and technical presentations. Assist with GOSU code reviews, code cleanups, and sprint demonstrations.
Requirement/Must Have:
Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience. Strong understanding of insurance domain applications including Policy, Claims, and Billing. Experience with GOSU development within Guidewire PolicyCenter. Experience configuring PCF screens and layouts. Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and software development best practices. Experience developing and executing GUnit and JUnit tests. Ability to manage code merges and environment management tasks. Experience leading development teams and collaborating with offshore and onshore teams.
Experience:
Experience designing, developing, modifying, and deploying Guidewire applications. Experience configuring operational and administration-related parameters. Experience resolving configuration and testing issues. Experience performing Guidewire software upgrades. Experience managing projects, programs, and development teams. Experience architecting and presenting technical solution designs. Experience conducting code reviews and supporting sprint demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications. Configure screens, workflows, and administrative settings. Perform software testing, debugging, and issue resolution. Manage code integration and deployment activities. Lead and support development teams across multiple locations. Create and present solution architecture and technical estimates. Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards. Support sprint demos and Agile development activities.
Should Have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Qualification And Education:
