Job Description
Job Description 50-68/hr Insight Global is seeking a Roku Developer for a leading media and entertainment client. This developer will develop and enhance Roku applications, build new features, optimize video playback performance, and improve streaming reliability across connected TV platforms. The role involves collaborating with engineering, QA, and product teams, integrating backend APIs including GraphQL, supporting CI/CD initiatives, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architecture discussions. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact streaming products supporting platform modernization, Olympics 2028 initiatives, and ad engagement with viewers. - Strong front-end development experience
- Hands-on experience with Roku development tools and video playback components
- Strong understanding of video streaming technologies including HLS and DASH
- JavaScript and TypeScript experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Architecture and system design experience Experience with GraphQL and API integrations
