In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using the latest web technologies. Your expertise will drive the creation of seamless user experiences, robust backend systems, and efficient system architecture. Responsibilities Lead the development of full-stack web applications utilizing the MERN stack, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate wireframes and user flows into responsive, visually appealing web interfaces using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, and UI frameworks like Bootstrap. Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to facilitate smooth data exchange between front-end and back-end systems. Manage database integration with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, and other data storage solutions; optimize queries for performance and scalability. Implement containerization and deployment pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices to streamline software delivery processes. Ensure system architecture aligns with best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability; utilize AWS or Azure cloud platforms for hosting and infrastructure management. Conduct unit testing and code reviews to uphold quality standards; leverage tools like Visual Studio and GitHub for version control and collaboration. Engage in Agile development cycles using Jira or Trello to plan sprints, track progress, and adapt to evolving project needs. Contribute to UX/UI design efforts by wireframing user flows and enhancing web design for optimal user engagement; support SEO strategies for increased visibility. Experience Proven experience as a Senior MERN Stack Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of full-stack web applications. Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (including TypeScript), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, XML, RESTful APIs, SOAP services, GraphQL APIs. Hands-on experience with React.js (including Redux), Angular frameworks; familiarity with React Native is a plus. Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js with Express.js; experience with Python or Ruby on Rails is advantageous. Strong understanding of database management systems such as MongoDB (NoSQL), MySQL/PostgreSQL (SQL), Microsoft SQL Server; ability to optimize complex queries. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker; experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. Knowledge of system architecture principles including DevOps practices for scalable cloud deployment on AWS or Azure environments. Experience working within Agile methodologies using Jira or Trello; committed to SDLC best practices including unit testing and code reviews.
