CoverageX LLC Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team in a hands-on, high-impact role focused on bridging the gap between business and product engineering. This role turns business requirements into clear directions for product engineering, ensures systems are designed correctly, and enables engineering teams to execute efficiently. You will work directly with the executive team, business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and the CTO to drive alignment, reduce ambiguity, improve delivery speed, and take ownership of technical direction across multiple systems and integrations. What you will be doing Technical Design & Architecture Translate business requirements into clear technical designs, workflows, and system architecture. Review and validate technical approaches with development teams. Identify risks, edge cases, and system impacts early. Ensure proper integrations among internal systems as well as with external services. Requirements Refinement Collaborate with the executive team, business stakeholders, and product owners proposing new projects to assess feasibility and define scope. Partner with product owners to refine requirements and eliminate ambiguity. Document system requirements to be handed over to the development team. Developer Enablement Support developers by unblocking issues and providing guidance. Occasionally contribute code to resolve blockers that are preventing progress. Oversee data flow and integration reliability across platforms. Leadership & Communication Provide clear updates, risks, and recommendations to the CTO and other technology leaders. Translate effectively between technical and non-technical teams. Champion scalable, maintainable system design as new features are added. What we are looking for 7+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or system architecture, with at least 4+ years in a senior role. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in system design, microservices/distributed systems architecture, cloud-native patterns, and API design. Deep technical knowledge in database management, including both RDBMSs (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis), covering schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migration strategies. Excellent technical understanding of modern frontend libraries, frameworks, and tools, specifically Vue, Nuxt, React, and TypeScript. Excellent technical understanding of backend languages (such as TypeScript, PHP, Java, Kotlin), modern frameworks, runtime environments, and platforms (NodeJS, JVM/SpringBoot). Solid grasp of web security fundamentals (OWASP), authentication/authorization standards, HTTP/REST/gRPC protocols, and enterprise integration patterns. Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes, along with modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation pipelines. Hands-on experience architecting and operating solutions across cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Hands-on experience with modern engineering workflows, Git strategies, automated testing frameworks, and AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex). Experience working in fast-paced, multi-system environments. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders. Nice to Have Experience with CRM systems. Experience with dialer/telephony platforms. Background in high-volume transactional systems or SaaS platforms.
Compensation Pay Range:
$75.00-$85.00 per hour (Full-Time). The posted range reflects base compensation for this role. Final offer within the range depends on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
