We are seeking a Senior / Lead Full-Stack Engineer to drive technical design and end-to-end delivery for the world's largest home improvement retail network. In this hands-on leadership role, you will take ownership of team-level technical architecture, guide execution, and build high-impact applications that support millions of customers across North America. Essential functions Drive technical design, architecture, and hands-on implementation of scalable full-stack applications. Lead team-level technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers on best practices. Build high-performing, resilient backend microservices using Java and modern enterprise frameworks. Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React and modern frontend state management. Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-native solutions across major platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Qualifications Proven track record in a Senior or Lead role with experience owning technical design and guiding team execution. Deep production experience with backend development using Java. Strong hands-on proficiency with frontend frameworks, specifically React. Practical experience building and deploying applications on at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Strong background in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native design. Would be a plus Experience working within enterprise-scale retail, supply chain, or high-throughput e-commerce systems. Familiarity with CI/CD automation pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices. Experience with state management libraries, TypeScript, and modern frontend performance optimization.
