$50/hr - $60/hr Introduction We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team focused on developing Data Acquisition and Control Systems (DACS) for test stands and test facilities supporting aerospace hardware testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing applications that collect and control data in various test environments. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development with a focus on data acquisition and test or process control systems Experience in PLC programming with emphasis on Allen-Bradley and Beckhoff PLCs Strong programming skills in LabVIEW or equivalent; familiarity with additional languages is a plus Experience integrating test instruments into control systems, such as power analyzers, power supplies, pressure scanners, temperature scanners, flow meters, pressure transmitters, and actuators Prior work experience in the aerospace industry or similar field Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with additional programming tools/environments such as MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, LabWindows/CVI Familiarity with NI SystemLink, TestStand, or VeriStand Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket, Git, or SVN, and requirements tracking systems Mechatronics work experience Day-to-Day Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and compliance with requirements Design and implement networking solutions for real-time data sharing and communication between multiple controllers Troubleshoot and resolve any software or hardware issues during the development and deployment phases Document software design, development/build processes, installation, and user manuals for end-users Reverse-engineer existing software on legacy systems to rebuild solutions using current-generation software and hardware Company Benefits & Culture Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans 401(k) with company match Opportunities for professional development and career growth For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex group id: artech Apply nowBenefits
