Summary of Responsibilities:
Trident Machine Tools is seeking an CNC Applications Engineer with expertise in Haas CNC equipment to support machine demonstrations, customer training, process development, and technical sales activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing professional who understands CNC milling and turning who can confidently work with customers to improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and implement successful machining solutions. This role combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and problem-solving to support machine tool sales and customer success throughout the region.
What You Will Contribute:
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and process-related issues. Maintain technical knowledge of Haas control features, software updates, and new machine technologies. Train customers on machine operation, programming, work holding, tooling, and best practices. Develop and optimize CNC programs for Haas product offerings. Conduct customer machine demonstrations in the showroom. Support the sales team with technical evaluations, machine recommendations, and application reviews. Assist with machine runoff and acceptance testing. Travel to customer locations as needed to support demonstrations, training, and process development.

Job Qualifications and Proficiencies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 2-5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience. Strong practical experience with Haas CNC.
Proficiency in:
G-code programming Setup and operation of CNC machines Tool selection and process optimization Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (regionally 30-50%). What's in it for
