is seeking a highly motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team. Job Description The Junior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies. Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools. Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider. Configure and manage Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debug cluster-based computing architecture. Use scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Install and manage open-source monitoring tools. Required Qualification Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred. 1-3 years' experience in the following: Integrate security practices, tools, and measures into the entire DevOps pipeline, including development, testing, deployment, and operations Automate security testing, scanning, and compliance checks throughout the development lifecycle. Implement automated security controls such as static code analysis, dynamic application security testing (DAST), container scanning, and vulnerability assessment Establish mechanisms for continuous monitoring of application and infrastructure security.
