Job Description

Senior .Net Application Developer#26-00119 Washington, DC All On-site Job Description Job duties in a few tidy bullet points: Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve defects Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, .Net Core, SQL and RDBMS experience, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SPA frameworks and C# Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies Create technical specifications and test plans Monitor everyday activities of system and provide require support. Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and gain an understanding on how new and emerging technologies are being deployed
Necessary Skills:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience 5+ years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript Experience leading small development teams Amazon Web Services Strong background in object-oriented development techniques Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices, e.g. SOA Database design and development (MySql) Experience with Web Services, WCF and Service Oriented Architecture a plus. Experience with concurrent development source control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins or Bamboo) Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies. Passion for technology and knowledge Technologies Microsoft MVC C# .Net, .Net core PowerShell Microsoft WebAPI ORM (EF, nHibernate or similar) Vue.js or other SPA framework experience jQuery MySQL and/or other relational database experience IOC Bootstrap Enterprise NuGet packaging Windows/Linux Containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, containerd) Experience with AWS technology stack (S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway) a plus Other Qualifications / Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, including verbal and written abilities Strong familiarity with technology/web/eCommerce/cybersecurity projects Strong leadership, organizational, and prioritization skills Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision Collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Works well with others in a team environment Ability to support the team outside of business hours, as needed Ability to pass a thorough background screening Some work-related travel may be required •Talteam Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
