The Impact You Will Have Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (API Developer) to join our Enterprise Integrations development team! In this role, your main focus will be to build and maintain enterprise API's. As a Senior Software Engineer (API Developer), you will work independently, in addition to supporting strategic business initiatives, and be a key collaborator with business partners. Your Responsibilities Design, code, and develop software. Work collaboratively on a daily scrum team with a scrum master, product owner, analysts, other developers, and testers to iteratively deliver functional code to production. Provide technical leadership for projects and products to ensure usability, usefulness, feasibility, and cost effectiveness. Work with analysts and customers to establish product or project requirements. Contribute innovative solutions while utilizing best practices, design standards, and governance. Research technology trends and contribute to designs and technology platform decisions. Mentor, lead, train other developers. This job may include on-call duties. Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) - required within 1 year of employment
Essential Candidate Qualities:
Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills Strong development experience using: Java, Springboot, AWS Fargate, AWS ECS, GITLab, REST APIs, SOAP Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with: JavaScript, Node
JS, API, SQL
Database, NoSQL, AWS, Lambda High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree. Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies. In depth prototype design and implementation experience.
Development experience using:
Terraform, Groovy, OOP, Test Automation, AWS cloud infrastructure, Node.

JS, React.js,
SQL Database Tools Experience:
FHIR, HAPI
FHIR, Jira, Microsoft Teams Other Experience:

Compensation and Benefits $102,400.00 - $138,300.00 - $174,200.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
