Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. This Senior Product & Application Engineer position for Chiller products is required to sustain engineering and new product design and development transfer activities, such as review and design of HVAC equipment.

Specific duties are as follows:

• Oversee continuous improvement of existing products and new launches in chiller products, including sustaining engineering, design and development activities for the continued launch of the ACDSV-E product, which features VFD scroll compressions and EC condenser fans.
• Responsible to review factory orders to make sure they are in complying with applicable engineering standards, customer requirements, and sound engineering principles.
• Communicate with other divisions such as Electrical & Control, Pressure Vessel, and other Departments to ensure smooth flow of fabrication work.
• Assist in resolving production technical issue encountered on products we are developing, such as the ACM chiller, which features a magnetic bearing oil-free compressor and EC condenser fans, with options of free cooling and an adiabatic cooling system.
• Promote product quality, safety and performance by examining and certifying that split chiller designs and low temperature cooling processes are achieved at a high level.
• Responsible for the preparation of documents required for the projects including Drawings, Purchased Part Specifications, Procedures, Bills of Material, Catalogues, Installation Manuals and other documents required for the design and manufacture of various chiller products.
• Responsible for providing technical support to Sales/Marketing, Warranty Service, Quality Control & Production Departments, Associate Companies and Customers as needed, on engineering related matters and product quality feedback.

Requires Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and two-year experience.

Special Requirement:

Experience must include work with Product Design of HVAC Equipment.
