The OpportunityThe Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, and optimization of the Microsoft 365 platform. This role provides technical leadership across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), Defender, Intune, Purview and related security and compliance services and settings. The engineer acts as a subject matter expert, mentors junior engineers, and partners with infrastructure teams to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable M365 environment.

position, Located in Lake Mary, FL.What You'll DoThis role would require Average 15% of Time for client help desk and 75% Of time for Office systems administration.

Platform Architecture & EngineeringDesign, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant architecture aligned with business and security requirementsOptimize tenant configuration for performance, reliability, and scalabilityEvaluate new Microsoft 365 features and roadmap items; provide recommendations and adoption strategies
Core WorkloadsExchange Online:
mail flow, hybrid configurations, retention, eDiscovery, and troubleshooting
SharePoint Online & OneDrive:
site architecture, permissions, storage management, governance
Microsoft Teams:
Channels, policies, voice integration, lifecycle management Entra ID (Azure AD): identity governance and life cycle, conditional access, MFA, SSO integrations
Intune:
Platform Expertise - Deep knowledge of the Intune Admin Center.

Enroll, provision (e.g., with Windows Autopilot), and manage endpoints (Windows, iOS, Android, macOS).
Modern Workplace Strategy:
Collaborate with teams to implement secure devices and app strategies.
App Deployment:
Deploy, update and manage applications across devices.

Security, Compliance & GovernanceImplement and manage Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery)Enforce Zero Trust principles and conditional access policiesPartner with security teams to support audits, investigations, and incident responseDefine and maintain governance standards, naming conventions, and lifecycle policiesAutomation & OperationsAutomate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Graph API, and scripting best practicesCreate monitoring, alerting, and healthcheck processes for O365 servicesTroubleshoot complex, tenantwide issues and engage Microsoft support when requiredLeadership & CollaborationServe as senior technical escalation point for O365 issuesMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and documentationCollaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teamsSupport change management, user adoption, and enterprise IT initiatives

What You BringEducationBachelor's degree in computer field Technical Skills10+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 in an enterprise environmentDeep expertise in: Exchange Online (including hybrid deployments)SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Defender and TeamsEntra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFAStrong PowerShell automation experienceSolid understanding of identity, authentication, and access managementExperience with M365 security and compliance toolingProfessional SkillsStrong troubleshooting and problemsolving abilitiesAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholdersExperience working in enterprise IT, regulated, or securityfocused environmentsProven ability to work independently and lead initiativesPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft certifications (e.g., MS102, SC300, SC400, AZ104)Experience with: Intune / Endpoint ManagerDefender for Office 365Hybrid identity (AD Connect / Cloud Sync)Experience in largescale tenant consolidation or mergersFamiliarity with ITIL, change management, or enterprise governance modelsLife at Village FarmsWe believe It Takes A Village and we mean it.
