This role involves hands-on technical expertise while contributing to the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and/or services. The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between software development and IT operations. The candidate combines strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and containerization.

Source Code Management:

Utilize Gitlab to architect, deploy, and maintain software applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Packer, promoting reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

Build and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline code deployment and reduce release cycles.

Security & Compliance:

Collaborate with cybersecurity team to embed best practices into the DevOps lifecycle, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation. Demonstrated experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Strong understanding of application security, cloud security, and secure software delivery practices. Ability to implement and manage automated security testing within the software development lifecycle. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and cybersecurity professionals. Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and organizational security policies. US Citizenship. Active secret clearance. Qualifications Bachelors and 2+ years or more experience; Masters and 1+ years; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
