40.0 Overview Leave medical technologies company looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer. Ideal candidates should have a Degree with 2 or more years of experience including Solid background working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment. Responsibilities Develop source code for shared biomechanics and planning components that integrate into the established architectures of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical applications. Participate in SDLC activities for the components, including code review, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis. Ensure components meet requirements and/or design specifications and are feature complete. Design, develop, test, debug, and implement operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. Determine systems software design requirements. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generate systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures. Requirements Degree with 2 or more years of experience Solid background working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment. Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) and build systems, with minimal supervision. Experience working with revision control systems and following CI/CD development practices. Familiarity with unit testing as part of the development workflow. Preferred Experience working with 3D geometry and image processing algorithms involving complex 3D calculations. Experience with developing surgical planning systems is desired.
