development and system integration Proficient in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows Position Summary The Application Analyst Specialist will be a critical member of the Student Information Systems (SIS) team, responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the SIS platform. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to support the institution's academic and administrative functions, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the SIS meets the evolving needs of students, faculty, and staff. They should be sufficient in software development principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployments. The Student Information Systems (SIS) Application Analyst Specialist will provide continued analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance services for Student Financials Applications as well as other system solutions as needed. Assist colleagues with designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining application programs. Design graphic elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, as well as user-friendly, visually appealing landing pages to enhance user experience and usability.
