Job Description
We're seeking a Full-Stack React Native / .NET Engineer who can independently own mobile application features from concept to production. In this role, you'll lead development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, contribute to backend services built in .NET/C#, and help deliver cloud-native solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure.
This is a highly collaborative, client-facing position that combines strong technical execution with consulting and communication skills. You'll work directly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions while building trusted relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in technical decision-making, architecture discussions, mentoring junior developers, and establishing engineering best practices across mobile and web platforms.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android
Develop and support backend APIs and services using .NET / C#
Integrate mobile and web applications with RESTful and JSON-based APIs
Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, present technical recommendations, and manage expectations
Make independent technical decisions and contribute to system architecture discussions
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Support cloud-native deployments and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure
Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
Contribute to CI/CD workflows, testing strategies, and deployment automation
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong experience building mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android
Backend development experience using .NET / C#
Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern web/mobile integrations
Solid understanding of:
Mobile application architecture
State management
Performance optimization
Debugging and troubleshooting
Experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play deployment processes
Comfortable working with:
Git-based workflows
Docker and containerization
Linux and Windows development environments
Command-line tooling
AI & Modern Engineering Practices
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering workflows
Ability to apply critical thinking when evaluating AI-generated solutions
Interest in mentoring team members on effective and responsible AI usage
Communication & Collaboration
Proven ability to independently own features from concept through production
Strong client-facing communication and consulting skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on clean, scalable, maintainable code
Comfortable collaborating across engineering, product, QA, design, and client teams
Thrives in lean, high-ownership environments
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure services such as:
Azure App Services
Azure Static Web Apps
Azure Functions
Azure DevOps
Experience with mobile performance optimization and native module integration
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments
Experience implementing:
Push notifications
Authentication and authorization flows
Secure mobile application design
Exposure to infrastructure and DevOps tooling such as:
Terraform
Kubernetes
GitHub Actions
Experience working in compliance-sensitive or security-focused environments
Additional programming language experience beyond JavaScript/TypeScript and C#
