Daniel Defense LLC seeks an Applications Engineer to support design, integration, and optimization of firearm components and accessories in a high-precision manufacturing environment. You will translate customer and internal requirements into practical engineering solutions, develop and improve manufacturing processes, and support new product introductions. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, creating technical drawings, resolving production issues, conducting testing and validation, collaborating with design, quality, and operations teams, and providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders in a safety- and quality-focused setting. Responsibilities Translate customer and internal requirements into manufacturable firearm and accessory solutions Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products Create and maintain CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications Support new product introduction from prototype through production ramp-up Troubleshoot and resolve production and application issues on the shop floor Conduct testing, validation, and root cause analysis to ensure quality and reliability Collaborate with design, quality, operations, and product teams on continuous improvement Provide technical support and application guidance to internal and external customers Document engineering changes, standards, and best practices Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards in all engineering work Required Skills CAD modeling and drafting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Manufacturing process development New product introduction (NPI) Mechanical design and analysis Root cause analysis and problem solving Technical documentation and drawings Product testing and validation CNC machining familiarity Cross-functional collaboration
