Contract For 1+ years Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud automation solutions for AWS environments, infrastructure management, and operational enablement initiatives. Develop scalable automation tools using Python, Boto3, Terraform, and TypeScript. Serve as a senior technical contributor, writing high-quality code independently with minimal supervision. Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions. Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule and provide off-hours support when required. Collaborate with globally distributed teams to support strategic ISG initiatives and cloud transformation projects. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote development best practices. Develop automated testing frameworks using PYTest, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and test automation methodologies. Support cloud cost optimization (FinOps) initiatives through automation, monitoring, and reporting solutions. Document technical solutions, processes, and operational procedures. Continuously improve system reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of professional software development experience. 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services). AWS Certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer). 4+ years of experience with: Python Boto3 Terraform TypeScript GitHub Actions CI/CD Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Test Automation, and PYTest. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations. Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders. Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% as needed.
