Job Description
Summary:
Backend Software Engineer developing scalable low-latency Scala and Java applications in an AWS environment using test-driven development. Job Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Scala Experience developing scalable backend software within an Agile team environment Strong knowledge of Scala and Java internals, including class loading, memory management, concurrency, futures, and multithreading Experience building low-latency, high-volume, distributed, scalable, and reliable backend systems Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs Experience using test-driven development Preferred Skills AWS experience Experience with Cats Effect, Http4s, FS2, or Akka Spring framework experience Frontend development experience Previous Deere experience Job Responsibilities Develop scalable backend software within an Agile team Build and maintain Scala and Java applications in an AWS environment Use test-driven development to design, implement, and validate backend solutions Develop distributed backend systems focused on low latency, high volume, scalability, and reliability Design, build, and supportRESTful APIs Pay Details:
