 10+ years of experience in software engineering or test automation Required 

Skills:

Strong design and development skills in Java (3-5 years) Experience with Cucumber, JBehave, or other BDD testing frameworks (3-5 years) At least 8 years of test automation framework design Strong experience testing Webservices / REST APIs (3-5 years) Proven experience developing test scripts, test cases, and test data Ability to write queries in SQL or other relational databases JMeter experience for scenario-based performance testing (3+ years) Experience testing full stack and integration testing with 3rd parties End-to-end system integration testing experience for software platforms Desired Skills (Nice to Have) Hands-on experience with Python Development experience in AWS Cloud technology Experience in TDD, continuous integration, and code review practices Experience with Apigee or other API gateways Experience with DevOps concepts and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git) At least 2 years working on an Agile team with understanding of Agile/Lean practices Understanding of microservice architecture Experience with load and performance testing Strong documentation skills Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems that make computers work. Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Responsibilities:

Review and approve modification of existing databases and database management systems Instruct staff to write and code logical and physical database descriptions Direct database development and approve project scope and limitations Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise installation and testing of new products Develop standards and guidelines to guide software use and acquisition Protect vulnerable information Develop test automation code for CI/CD of systems, infrastructure, and test frameworks Plan, design, develop, and maintain API test automation frameworks Provide technical leadership and mentoring to test engineers (onshore and offshore) Coordinate with product owner to resolve open issues/enhancements Develop automated functional scripts using Java, Karate, JMeter Perform exploratory and manual testing as appropriate Provide expertise in testing methodologies, best practices, and standards Soft Skills (Required): Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment Pro-active, flexible, and creative Very strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and business users
