As an Applications Engineer, you will serve as the vital technical bridge between innovative display products and groundbreaking customer applications. This role is designed for a self-starter with a passion for electronics engineering, hardware/firmware troubleshooting, and customer-centric problem-solving.Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, providing expert guidance on product selection and troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues. Collaborate with clients to design or modify displays and lead the testing of electronic solutions, including PCB layout and embedded software development. Oversee the Engineering Change Process, perform pre-production sample reviews, and conduct second-sourcing qualifications. Support local production by developing and repairing test fixtures and managing RMA requirements. Create and maintain technical resources, including schematics, user drawings, manuals, datasheets, and application notes. Develop demonstration kits to showcase product features and assist with internal product training.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical role within the electronics industry. Proficiency in C++ or C programming and experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers (PIC, ATMEL, ARM). Technical expertise in peripherals such as I²C, SPI, USB, GPIO, and SD Cards. Proven ability to troubleshoot to the component level and interpret electronic schematics. Hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB layout tools, and prototype assembly (soldering and breadboarding). Strong organizational discipline and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. Familiarity with OLED, LCD, LED, or VFD technology is a significant plus.Similar remote jobs
