About thisRole:
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) is a highly organized and skilled individual who is responsible for managing contractor relationships, ensuring system installations meet specifications, and providing product-focused technical support. Key responsibilities include contractor scheduling, training, and technical guidance, as well as system programming and modifications. This role involves travel and field work, with some time at our Elmhurst office.Responsibilities:

Position Qualifications Competencies & Skills:
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing and walking for prolonged periods of time, lifting and/or carrying heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation is required Good hand-eye coordination is necessary Mechanical ability, required Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Ability to update and manage excel spreadsheets and manage Outlook calendar invites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary Strong problem-solving skills necessary for success Communication and teamwork skills with a positive demeanor is required Ability to read, write and speak fluent English, non-negotiable Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions accurately and completely as needed Strong work ethic and initiative necessary Commitment to safety rules and DOT standards for roadway workspace, required Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions Flexible work hours as needed to accommodate customer work schedules on occasion, necessary Ability to travel onsite with overnight stays that may begin on a weekend, required Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record and be willing to furnish proof of private insurance at any time upon company requestEducation and Experience:
