Atlas Fibre Position Summary Atlas Fibre is seeking an experienced Automation & Robotics Programmer to program, integrate, troubleshoot, and improve robotic and automated manufacturing systems. This position will support CNC machine tending, material handling, part loading and unloading, and other automated processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience programming industrial robots, PLCs, and HMIs in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Program, modify, and troubleshoot industrial robots and automated equipment. Develop robot paths, movements, sequences, and logic for manufacturing applications. Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs. Integrate robots with CNC machines, sensors, vision systems, conveyors, and safety devices. Support robotic machine-tending, material-handling, and pick-and-place applications. Configure and troubleshoot end-of-arm tooling, grippers, fixtures, and related equipment. Diagnose robot, PLC, electrical, communication, and control-system issues. Test, debug, and validate automation programs before production launch. Optimize robot movements and automated sequences to improve cycle time and productivity. Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and production startup. Maintain backups, revision records, and documentation for robot, PLC, and HMI programs. Train operators and maintenance personnel on proper system operation and basic troubleshooting. Respond to production downtime and provide technical support when needed. Ensure robotic cells comply with applicable machine-safety requirements. Work with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams on continuous-improvement projects.
