The Application Engineer will support existing and potential customers in selecting, applying, and commissioning products that provide the optimum solution for their process applications. This position will work closely with customers, Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering while helping identify product improvements and new product opportunities.

Job Duties:

Provide technical support and answer customer questions regarding product applications. Analyze customer needs and develop technical specifications, performance requirements, proposals, quotations, and supporting documentation. Analyze new product quotations and develop recommendations based on customer requirements. Identify customer application and product needs and recommend appropriate product solutions. Research competitive markets and utilize findings to develop recommendations. Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales departments. Utilize ERP and CRM systems to document and enter key information. Conduct group presentations on technical topics and customer proposals.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent. 1-3 years of customer service or sales experience. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers. Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems is a plus. Ability to develop working knowledge of the product line within 3 months.
