Description:
TRISTAR is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer II to support the software development and system administration of the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations (EW ICO) in support of the Azurite Program. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and maintain mission software. Develop software primarily in C++ and Python. Support software integration, debugging, verification, and production hardening activities. Participate in software architecture discussions, implementation planning, and technical design reviews. Submit software changes through the established version control and merge request process. Participate in daily task planning and Agile software development activities. Collaborate with Systems, DSP, and RF engineers to develop integrated mission capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Must have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date. Ability to develop and maintain software using C++, Python and/or JavaScript. Able to work within a Git-based software development workflow. Ability to develop and debug software in Linux and Windows development environments. Ability to integrate software across multiple subsystems and to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. About
