full-time Do you have an engineering degree and enjoy working on hardware and software? Our client is seeking an Application Engineer to develop engineering solutions for a key client in Lafayette, IN Overview An entry-level role responsible for developing engineering solutions for our customer using our client's test automation software products to meet their customer requirements and functional specifications. This position will provide sales support, customer technical assistance, customer training on site, and potential support to other customers.

Location:
Lafayette, IN Duties Include:

Commission new test automation systems and upgrade existing systems at customer facilities Provide customer consultation for problem-solving within scope of supply and warranty requirements Translate requirements of technical documents into the test automation system configuration in order to properly operate instrumentation during tests Propose new products and features for product enhancement Test newly developed test automation systems functional features as part of overall product quality review

Ideal Skills/Knowledge:

BA/BS Degree in a STEM field, ideally having studied engineering Experience testing and configuring an automated system (can come from a degree program, internship or industry) Experience and interest in both hardware and software applications Some experience with computer programing is a plus but not required Willingness to learn new skills and software diagnostic techniques on a regular basis. Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
