Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Geographic Information Systems ( GIS )

Operations:

Use ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise in day-to-day GIS operations and tasks. Use ArcGIS Online tools, including, but not limited to, Survey 123, Experience Builder, Dashboards, Story Maps, Quick Capture, Web Maps, and WebApp Developer Enterprise in day-to-day GIS operations and tasks. Use common office computer software such as Microsoft Office and Office 365 in day-to-day operations and tasks. Create, publish, and maintain ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise applications and resources. Assist the GIS Coordinator in coordination and management of the agency's GIS program. Serve as primary and sole backup of the GIS Coordinator. Assist in planning, developing, and coordinating projects/applications and establishing timelines. Develop GIS and digital data products in the areas of mapping, analysis, and remote sensing. Produce accurate, up-to-date paper maps, online maps and online dashboards and applications for use by emergency management, county emergency managers, and state agencies. Develop mapping projects on demand from entities within the agency, emergency management, its partners and the 105 counties at the direction of the direct supervisor.
