Job Summary We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer to own and advance our software ecosystem. In this role, you won't just be a cog in a machine. You will work on a variety of projects, from developing internal tools that optimize our aerospace parts manufacturing to building firmware or configuration software for our smart LED lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities Application Development:

Design, build, and maintain robust desktop, web, or mobile applications used to configure and monitor our LED lighting solutions.

Systems Integration:

Develop internal software tools, databases, and APIs to streamline our aircraft parts inventory, quality control, and supply chain tracking.

Firmware Collaboration:

Work alongside hardware engineers to write or optimize low-level software/firmware for microcontrollers embedded in our lighting products.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure software reliability, especially where it intersects with aviation compliance and hardware safety.

Technical Support & Documentation:

Write clean, well-documented code and provide occasional technical support or troubleshooting for internal teams and key clients.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

H.S. Diploma/Associate's Degree/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:

2-5+ years of professional software development experience.

Programming Languages:

Proficiency in languages suited for both application and hardware-adjacent development (e.g., C/C++, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript).

Hardware Interfacing:

Experience or strong interest in working with hardware, microcontrollers, or communication protocols (like UART, SPI, I2C, or

DMX/DALI

for lighting).

Database Management :

Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases for managing inventory and product data.

Soft Skills:

A self-starter mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team environment.

• Experience working within FAA or aerospace regulatory frameworks (AS9100).
• Background in IoT, smart home, or industrial lighting automation systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for data logging or remote diagnostics.
