This is a leading design and build audiovisual company known for pioneering some of today's most sophisticated and innovative digital and corporate environments. From turnkey huddle room tools to jaw-dropping LED video wall canvases, they create fully immersive, high-definition experiential installations. You will find their work in Fortune and Global 100 company headquarters, lavish Las Vegas casinos, interactive museums, cutting-edge entertainment facilities, and experiential LED installations. This is an AV solutions provider with a global presence and regional offices across the country. This position focuses on testing and commissioning complex audiovisual systems. Your role will include working closely with the installation team as well as the project management team to troubleshoot issues, configure controls, and document test results to meet project goals. Duties The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Review audiovisual drawings and SOWs Create and maintain system documentation Test and troubleshoot point-to-point functionality of integrated systems in Company shop prior to delivery to the job site Coordinate with client network and AV teams as necessary Install control programs, update firmware Configure devices for network communication Test and troubleshoot point-to-point functionality of integrated systems at the client site Fine tune audio and video equipment/systems for optimal performance Train the client on use of the system(s) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Some work will be performed at Company office but you must be able to travel to job sites as needed. Some US travel with overnight stays may be required. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience as a field engineer required In depth knowledge of audiovisual systems operation and integration Experience with commercial audiovisual equipment, products, and systems (specifically Crestron, QSYS, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, and Shure) Skilled use of testing and calibration equipment Ability to diagnose complex system issues Advanced use of PC, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills (Maintaining accurate system documentation is a crucial part of the FAE role) Ability to multitask and remain well organized without losing attention to detail Commitment to client satisfaction Certifications that are a big plus include AVIXA CTS, Crestron, QSYS, Extron, Biamp, Netgear, Dante, and Shure Pay range is $40.00-$55.00 per hour based on experience.
