General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES
As a software engine er for the NC3 business segment, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing the next generation of NC3 strategic deterrence systems. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Kubernetes Linux DevOps Rust SQL, Postgres Distributed Systems What sets you apart: Familiarity with Linux Familiarity with DevOps-based development and deployment of systems from CI/CD pipelines. Familiar with virtualization and/or containerization (Hypervisors, Kubernetes/workload orchestration, etc.) Networking skills - either able to describe networking concepts and/or have experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, etc. Experience with Agile or other methodologies. Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems Comfortable providing technical leadership Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation Our Commitment to

This posit ion is on-site in Taunton, MA with occasional ability to work remotely when needed but you must live near the facility. While on-site, you will be a part of our Dedham, MA location with occasional travel to our Taunton, MA location Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $95,384.00 - USD $105,817.00 /Yr.
