Job Description

Senior / Principal Software Engineer responsible for expanding automated software testing, converting manual tests to automated coverage, supporting code fixes, and leading verification and validation activities for regulated medical device software. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Senior-level software development experience. Experience with C#, Java, and/or Python. Experience developing or maintaining software on Windows Embedded platforms. Experience creating automated unit tests. Experience converting manual software tests into automated tests. Experience supporting software debugging and code fixes. Experience leading verification and validation activities for regulated medical devices. Knowledge of
IEC 62304.
Knowledge of
ISO 14971.
Experience working within regulated medical device software development lifecycles. Experience supporting both software development and software verification activities. Preferred Skills Principal-level software engineering experience. Hybrid software development and V&V background. Experience with Embedded Linux. Experience developing automated verification frameworks. Experience with software risk management for medical devices. Experience with traceability between software requirements, risks, tests, and verification results. Experience supporting regulated software release documentation. Job Responsibilities Extend existing automated unit test coverage. Convert manual test procedures into automated tests. Develop and maintain software verification tools and test frameworks. Perform software debugging and implement code fixes as needed. Support verification and validation planning and execution. Lead V&V activities for regulated medical device software. Ensure software development and verification activities align with
IEC 62304
requirements. Support software risk management activities in accordance with
ISO 14971.
Review software requirements and identify appropriate verification methods. Maintain traceability between requirements, risks, test cases, and verification results. Support defect investigation and resolution. Contribute to software release readiness and verification documentation.
Pay:
