Summary:
- Lead software engineering efforts to extract meaning and value from structured and unstructured data using Java, Python, Scala, and NiFi
- Design and implement big data processing workflows and analytics utilizing Pig, Hadoop MapReduce, and Spark
- Construct automated dataflow systems, data ontologies, and machine learning models within enterprise cloud environments
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree:
Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 6+ years
Total Compensation:
$325k+ yearly (tentative)
- Devise technical strategies to extract insight and value from complex structured and unstructured datasets
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, behaviors, and anomalies
- Build and scale data processing pipelines using Java, Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, and Apache NiFi
- Develop new methodologies for automated data characterization, schema validation, and data enrichment
- Analyze and develop technical requirements supporting the ingestion and processing of new data formats
- Utilize query and visualization tools to present question-focused datasets and analytic results clearly
