Job Description:
Hiring:
Senior Appian Developer iShift is looking for a senior Appian developer for a federal client building a new enterprise booking and scheduling application from the ground up. One dedicated seat, embedded with the client's team, hands-on from requirements through post-MVP stabilization. This is a build role, not a maintenance role. What you'd be building:
  • A unified self-service request portal replacing several disconnected intake channels, with a guided wizard that routes each request to the right fulfilling group
  • Back-office dashboards and reporting for the staff who work the queue
  • Integration with an existing Appian room reservation application so bookings flow through to the right team automatically Must have:
  • 3+ years developing full-time on Appian
  • ACTIVE Appian Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification - this one is non-negotiable and lapsed credentials don't count
  • 5+ years in a related IT role
  • Web API development
  • Configuring Appian with complex API integrations, data structures, business rules, and group/user security
  • Leading requirements workshops with non-technical stakeholders
  • Performance tuning of Appian processes and interfaces
  • MariaDB (preferred), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MSSQL
HTML, CSS, HTTP, JSON
  • Microsoft Office including Visio
  • Agile/Scrum
  • Able to pass a federal background check What makes you stand out:

  • Appian integrated with the Microsoft Graph API for calendar events
