Compensation:
$135,000 - $200,000 + equity
Clearance Required:
Secret (U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance) About the Role Fuze HR Solutions Inc. is recruiting on behalf of one of the world's leading software companies to hire a Frontend Software Engineer for a team building mission-critical applications used across the U.S. defense and national security ecosystem. This is not traditional web development. You will build sophisticated, data-intensive applications that help users understand complex environments, collaborate in real time, visualize geospatial information, prioritize alerts, allocate resources, and make high-stakes operational decisions. The products are used in command centers and operational environments where software performance, reliability, and usability directly matter. You will own work across the full product lifecycle, from understanding a user problem and designing a solution through implementation, shipping, iteration, and long-term maintenance. Engineers work closely with users, designers, backend engineers, and other technical teams while maintaining substantial individual ownership. What You'll Work On Build complex applications and workflows using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript Develop high-scale data visualization, geospatial, and real-time collaborative experiences Architect intuitive interfaces for sophisticated, data-heavy user workflows Own features from initial design and prototyping through production and maintenance Work across frontend applications, APIs, schemas, and supporting systems Solve challenging performance, UX, rendering, and systems-design problems Work directly with users to understand operational needs and turn them into production software Minimum Qualifications 2 to 5 years of frontend or full-stack software engineering experience, including at least some experience building complex frontend applications (not primarily marketing sites or basic CRUD applications) Strong React, TypeScript, and JavaScript experience Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of meaningful production features or products Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, performance, and systems design U.S. Citizen, eligible to obtain a security clearance Based in or willing to relocate to Washington, D.C. Able to work 4-5 days per week onsite
Education Required:
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
