    VTG seeking a Jr.

DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience supporting software and system deployments, Linux environments, containerized applications, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps operations.

What will you do?

  • Support software and system deployments across Linux, containerized, cloud, and virtualized environments.
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems, particularly RHEL and CentOS.
  • Support DevSecOps processes and automation across development, testing, deployment, and operational environments.
  • Design, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade LAN, CAN, and WAN networks.
  • Administer and configure Arista and Cisco network devices.
  • Configure and optimize network infrastructure connecting front-end and back-end system components.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management solutions using Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters to support high availability, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Support the management and monitoring of hybrid cloud and virtualized environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, Linux, containerization, and application integration issues.
  • Work across infrastructure, development, security, and operations teams to support reliable system deployments.

  • TS/SCI with Poly required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with:
  • Software and system deployments
  • Linux system administration
  • Containerization
  • Cloud deployments
  • DevSecOps
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting RHEL/CentOS Linux environments.
  • Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading
LAN/CAN/WAN

networks.

  • Experience administering Arista and Cisco networking equipment.
  • Experience configuring and optimizing networks supporting front-end and back-end components.
  • Proficiency with Python and Bash scripting.
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code/configuration-management tools such as Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters for high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Experience managing and monitoring hybrid cloud and virtualized environments.
  • Active
IAT II CWIP

/ DoD 8570-compliant certification, such as CompTIA Security+.

  • Must be willing to travel.
    VTG's estimated starting pay range is $100K
  • $110K annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location.
