Job Description Minimum Qualifications:
The Senior DevOps Developer provides technical leadership for the design and implementation of enterprise DevOps and DevSecOps capabilities. The developer architects automated software delivery and infrastructure-management solutions that improve development velocity, system reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency across complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Architect and lead implementation of enterprise CI/CD, DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployment capabilities.
  • Design highly automated development and operational environments spanning on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures.
  • Establish architecture and engineering patterns for source control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, testing, security validation, artifact management, and deployment.
  • Design and implement scalable containerized and Kubernetes-based application platforms.
  • Develop automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration-management capabilities using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or comparable platforms.
  • Integrate cybersecurity controls and automated security testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design solutions for secrets management, identity integration, configuration management, certificate management, and secure software delivery.
  • Develop automated observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational-health capabilities.
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies and recommend solutions based on technical, operational, security, and mission requirements.
  • Establish reusable DevOps frameworks, pipelines, templates, modules, and automation libraries.
  • Lead resolution of complex application, infrastructure, deployment, integration, and performance issues.
  • Establish technical standards, engineering practices, configuration baselines, and deployment procedures.
  • Mentor Mid-Level and junior developers and provide technical direction to development and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with architects, software developers, cybersecurity engineers, system engineers, and government stakeholders to establish integrated technical solutions.
  • Lead technical planning, design reviews, demonstrations, and implementation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to use automation and emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development and intelligent operations, to improve software delivery and infrastructure management.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8-12 years of experience in DevOps, software development, systems engineering, cloud engineering, automation, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing enterprise DevOps/DevSecOps environments.
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD platforms, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, containers, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or comparable enterprise cloud environments.
  • Advanced experience with Kubernetes and containerized application platforms.
  • Strong programming or scripting experience using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating security, automated testing, compliance, monitoring, and operational controls into DevOps pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and establish enterprise engineering standards and reusable solutions.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
  • Must hold Top Secret security clearance.
